My Love of Coffee
My love for coffee began like most - keeping me awake during my studies!
But my enjoyment of coffee didn't end there. I began my experience with coffee brewing espresso. Fortunately, I have always worked
with independent coffee companies which kept me open to a range of different beans from a range of locations and farmers, feeding my
curiosity for getting more flavour out of the beans I had been working with and opening up the world of other brewing methods. Coming from
an english household I began with a cafetière (French press) and soon purchased my own V60, Moka Pot, Kalita and Aeropress. And so began
my speciality coffee journey.
Since then I have had barista, brewing and sensory training with
Origin Coffee,
Allpress Espresso and
SCA (Specialist Coffee Association), and
over 5 years of onsite barista experience.
Although I enjoy putting a lot of love and experience into my coffee, my core commitment is towards
the customer experience; improving people's day, listening to them, educating them and bettering their
daily experience through the coffee and hospitality.
Currently, I am based in Cambridge, brewing coffee at WeWork using
Change Please Coffee.
